Conference Policies

1) Registration/Cancellation Policy
Attendees that register under the restaurant category must operate a physical location, be employed, or serve as a board member of a restaurant company and must be registered under the name of such restaurant company.

With written cancellation notice received by April, 29, 2024, you will receive a refund (credit card payments
will be subject to a $50 administrative charge on cancellations). Cancellations after April 29th, are nonrefundable.
Notices of cancellation must be received by the Food On Demand office by the April 29, 2024 deadline.

Substitution of enrolled attendees is permitted. No shows will not receive refunds.

Food on Demand reserves the right to approve all registrations.

2) Hotel
The Bellagio is a luxury resort hotel and casino in the heart of the Las Vegas Strip like none other.

The conference rate is $199 + resort fee, which includes property-wide high speed Internet (in-room and public areas), unlimited local and toll free calls, fitness center and tennis court access, and complimentary valet and self parking.

Book early! The room block fills up quickly—often before the April 10, 2024 cut-off.

3) Photos/Video
By entering the Food on Demand Conference, you are entering an area where photography and/or video recording may occur.
Your entry and presence on the event premises constitute your consent to be photographed and/or filmed. These photographs and video footage may be used by Food on Demand in future promotional materials.
No photography, audio or video recording is allowed during the conference without prior written permission from Food on Demand management team.

4) Conference badges are required for entry to the conference area, sessions and exhibit hall and are to be worn by attendees at all times while on the conference premises.  Conference badges are not to be shared.  Attendees are solely responsible for there own badge, if lost onsite, you may be subject to a reprint fee.

5) Conduct detrimental to the conference: Unacceptable behavior from any conference attendee at the Food on Demand Conference, including attendees, sponsors or exhibitors will not be tolerated.
If an attendee is deemed to be disruptive to the conference, the conference staff will remove that attendee from the conference, without refund.


CONTRACT STIPULATIONS

These contract stipulations apply to Exhibitors and Sponsors of the Food on Demand Conference to be held at the The Bellagio, Las Vegas, NV, May 8-10, 2024. We reserve the right to establish further rules and regulations as we may deem necessary to the general success and well-being of the conference and attendees, and render all interpretations and decisions relating to the rules and regulations.  We shall have sole control over admissions of all persons to the Bellagio Hotel, and its exhibit area. We reserve the right to refuse to rent or provide booth space to any exhibitor.

1.      BOOTHS AND SPONSORSHIPS CONFIRMATION POLICY: All booths and sponsorships must be paid in full no later than March 31, 2024.  After March 31, 2024 full payment must accompany the contract.

2.      SINGLE BOOTH POLICY: No other company shall occupy or share your booth. Subletting space is not permitted.

3.      EXHIBIT BOOTH AND SPONSORSHIP CANCELLATION POLICY:  An exhibitor or sponsor may cancel or withdraw from the conference by giving written notice no later than March 31, 2024. Refunds shall be payable within 90 days, less a $550 administrative charge. Booths or sponsorships cancelled after March 31, 2024 are non-refundable.

4.      EXHIBITOR PERSONNEL: Exhibitors and sponsors are permitted complimentary registrations based on their exhibit or sponsorship level. Company personnel attending the conference not included in the allotted number of complimentary registrations must pay the conference registration fee (there are no exceptions). Only registered attendees are permitted into the conference area and only company personnel may use complimentary registrations.

5.      EXHIBIT HOURS: Exhibit space must be set up by 1:00 pm on Wednesday, May 8th. The Exhibit Hall opens that day at 4:00 pm. Exhibit tear down is on Friday, May 10th at 9:00 am. You must tear down that morning; we are not responsible for items left behind.

6.      OBSTRUCTIONS: Due to fire marshal rules, no booth will be allowed to extend further than your assigned booth space. In addition, booth items/structures that obstruct the views of other booths (i.e., side walls to your booth, tall signage, balloons, etc.) will not be allowed, and we will ask that you dismantle these.

7.      LIABILITY: Each exhibitor or sponsor agrees to be responsible for its own property, through insurance or self-insurance, and shall hold harmless any and all parties from any damage caused by theft and other perils normally covered by fire or extended coverages.  The conference does not provide liability or property damage insurance for property or personnel of exhibitors or sponsors. Neither the Bellagio, Franchise Times Corp.  (d/b/a Food on Demand Conference) nor any sub-contractor will be responsible for any injury, loss or damage to an exhibitor or sponsor, or the employees or property of the exhibitor or sponsor, except that none of such parties shall be released from responsibility to the extent the injury, loss, or damage is due to the negligence, intentional misconduct, or breach of this agreement by such party.  No party shall be liable to any other party for special, indirect, incidental, or consequential damages, including but not limited to lost profits.  Each exhibitor and sponsor and their representatives shall indemnify and hold harmless the Bellagio, Franchise Times Corp.  (d/b/a Food on Demand Conference) and their affiliates, agents and employees from any and all liabilities for loss, damage, or injury ensuing from any cause whatsoever to the extent such loss, damage or injury is the result of the negligence, willful misconduct, or breach of this agreement by the exhibitor or sponsor or its representatives. All exhibit materials including decorations, exhibit display, projectors and apparatus must conform to the fire regulations and electrical codes of the exhibit hall.

8.      FORCE MAJEURE: Neither party is to be liable to the other for failure to perform any obligation under this agreement if and so long as the failure is caused by, without limitation, war, insurrection, riot, fire, explosion, flood, strike, lockout, third party injunction, national defense requirements, acts or regulations of national or local governments, act of God, inability to obtain fuel or power or raw materials or labor or transportation, accident, malfunction of machinery or apparatus, denial of export or import licenses, epidemic or pandemic, government lock-down, or any other cause beyond the control of the party whose performance is affected. In the event any of these circumstances occur during the term of this Agreement and render performance by a party illegal or impossible (or, in the case of disease, would render performance inadvisable as determined by the affected party in its sole discretion), either party may cancel the Agreement without liability upon written notice to the other party. Notice of cancellation may be sent at any time, in writing prior to the Conference, provided the canceling party has met the requirements of this provision.

9.      OTHER: Exhibitors and sponsors of the Food On Demand Conference agree to hold meetings only with registered attendees of the conference. 

10.   EMAIL POLICY: Attendee email addresses are only provided to exhibitors and sponsors.  No email blasting to the conference attendee list is permitted.  Additionally, the conference attendee list is exclusive property of the Food on Demand. Exhibitors and sponsors may not sell, share, or add the list to your database of marketing contacts.

11.   RIGHT TO USE LOGO: Exhibitor or sponsor hereby grants to Franchise Times Corp.  (d/b/a Food on Demand Conference), without a fee, a non-exclusive, non-transferable limited right to use the Exhibitor/Sponsor logo (the “Logo”) solely for placement on the conference materials as described in the Agreement for the Conference for which exhibitor or sponsor agrees to be a sponsor (“Conference Website & Materials”).  All uses of the Logo shall be limited to the Conference Website & Materials. Franchise Times Corp. (d/b/a Food on Demand Conference) shall use the Logo only in the exact form, style and type prescribed by the Exhibitor/Sponsor and will acquire no ownership, in whole or in part, in the Logo by virtue of using it in accordance with this Agreement.  The use rights licensed hereunder shall not be assigned or sublicensed and any attempt at assignment or sublicensing shall be null and void.

12.   LEGAL MATTERS:  This Agreement shall be governed in accordance with Minnesota law.  The federal and state courts in Minneapolis, Minnesota shall have exclusive jurisdiction and venue for any litigation between the parties.  The reasonable legal fees and expenses of the prevailing party in any litigation shall be paid by the non-prevailing party.
