Ahsan Jiva serves as EVP of Strategy and Transformation for Mellow Mushroom, the stone-
baked pizza titan with 160+ locations nationwide. His expertise spans new prototype development, operational efficiency, data strategy, and innovative digital products for both franchisees and customers. He maintains a strategic focus on long-range business planning across financial, growth, operational, and experiential lenses.

Ahsan’s professional journey began at a leading global professional services firm, where he
spent over five years in management consulting. Collaborating with Fortune 100 companies, he delivered sustained top- and bottom-line improvements through thoughtful technology deployment, data utilization, and a focus on customer experiences. Rooted in a genuine appreciation for the Mellow Mushroom brand (and a personal penchant for its iconic Holy Shiitake pizza), Ahsan joined the team in September 2019 as Director of Digital Strategy & Analytics. In that role, he was instrumental in launching an enterprise-wide analytics platform and enhancing the company’s digital marketing strategy.

In his current role as EVP of Strategy and Transformation, Ahsan oversees comprehensive digital, data, and cross-functional strategic workstreams. He spearheads the creation of new store formats to broaden Mellow Mushroom’s reach, attract new customer segments, and reduce barriers for potential franchisees and investors. Ahsan also oversees franchising, development, technology, and analytics initiatives. He played a crucial role in Mellow Mushroom’s company-wide rebrand, a milestone that celebrated the brand’s 50th anniversary in November 2023.

Ahsan finds the most fulfilling aspect of his role to be collaborating with colleagues across the organization to implement strategies that lay the groundwork for sustained success. He is excited about the tremendous potential of the 50-year-old brand and its passionate, cult-like following. Outside work, Ahsan enjoys spending time with his family in nature, playing team sports, and maintaining a keen interest in industry trends, financial markets, and technological innovations.
