David Azose

Head of Merchant Engineering, DoorDash 

David Azose is the Head of Merchant Engineering at DoorDash, where he oversees a team of engineers who build products and services that enable restaurants to seamlessly grow their business online. Spanning from Marketplace essentials including onboarding and store operations to first-party solutions like DoorDash Drive, Storefront, and Voice Ordering, David’s merchant-first mentality guides him to solve complex and technical business problems on behalf of restaurant partners. Prior to joining DoorDash three years ago, David led engineering at Uber for Driver, Events & Airports after beginning his career at Microsoft in developer tools and cloud services. He holds a B.S in Computer Science from McGill University and lives with his three children in Washington, where he enjoys exploring the outdoors as an avid cyclist, skier, and budding mountaineer.
