David Adelman

Head of Business Development, Toast

David Adelman is head of business development at Toast. He leads the partnerships team, which oversees the Toast Partner Ecosystem of over 160 best-in-class providers integrated into the Toast platform to help restaurants thrive, as well as Toast’s channel partnerships program. 

Prior to Toast, he was VP of global partnerships at Via, driving the on-demand transit tech company’s rapid expansion to over 20 countries. Prior to Via, David led BD and M&A at Snagajob, founded a venture-backed startup, and worked at Bain Consulting and private equity firm Charlesbank Capital.

He started his career slinging coffee as a barista at Starbucks and baking bagels at Bruegger’s. David received his MBA from the Wharton School and his bachelor’s degree from Harvard University. He grew up in Israel, where he was the Israeli junior national golf champion, and now lives in the Washington, D.C. area.
