Remember 2004? Shrek 2 was big. So was Green Day. And GrubHub was just getting started.

Cut to today and GrubHub has delivered 2 billion orders to nearly 100 million customers. It’s commemorating two decades in business by launching a two-week event, starting today and running through July 30, titled “20 Years of Deals,” in which consumers can avail themselves of generous discounts.

GrubHub has enlisted some of its most popular restaurant partners on the promotion, including Taco Bell, Wendy’s, Panera, Popeye’s, and more.

An example of an offer is for free Cantina Chicken Quesadillas from Taco Bell on orders of more than $20. Continuing the double-deuce theme, Popeye’s is offering a free chicken sandwich on orders of $20 or more. And on down the line through its marketplace. Consider it GrubHub’s way of providing green days to customers.

“Grubhub started 20 years ago as a business that helped restaurants digitize their menus to reach more diners online. Today, we help millions of customers get whatever they want, whenever they want it, delivered right to their doorstep. This year, we’re not just celebrating this milestone by recognizing what we have accomplished but also showing our gratitude to the people who made it possible,” said Howard Migdal, CEO of GrubHub, in a statement.

As part of its celebration, GrubHub will also be launching a new grant program to help delivery partners support nonprofits in their communities and an enhanced employee giving campaign focused on hunger, hospitality, and independent restaurants. And for its hometown, it will be hosting a Chicago Food Festival in September with a free lunch for attendees.
