Thaddaeus Smith

Director of Brand Communications | Executive Chef, Sterno

Classically trained at the French Culinary Institute, NYC, chef Thaddaeus Smith has worked in some of the most recognized kitchens in America, including Les Celebrites, Cafe Botanica, and Match Uptown in Manhattan; Pittsburgh’s Duquesne Club; The French Consulate (Chicago); and the historic Spearo Guest Ranch in Sheridan, Wyoming. He also spent 5 years as the executive chef of Chicago-based Mediterranean cuisine company, Kronos Foods.

Since joining Sterno in 2007, he has managed all aspects of marketing communications as well as consulted with a number of independent, chain, and contract management operations, helping them manage their on- and off-premise dining and catering operations.
