DoorDash is expanding its partnership with Chase to enhance grocery benefits for cardholders. Eligible cardmembers can enjoy recurring perks when ordering from convenience, grocery, and non-restaurant stores on DoorDash.

DashPass, DoorDash’s membership program, provides $0 delivery fees on eligible orders. DoorDash has increased the selection of grocers on its platform to include Save-A-Lot and Aldi, among others.

Usman Cheema, Global Head of Business Development for DoorDash, said they are excited to become Chase’s exclusive grocery and restaurant delivery platform partner.

“In addition to continuing to offer DashPass as a benefit for eligible cardmembers, we’re proud to unlock more DoorDash savings for Chase cardmembers to order from a wide variety of categories available on DoorDash including grocery and convenience stores. We look forward to continuing our partnership with Chase to connect consumers to all their favorite local stores in a convenient, affordable way,” Cheema said.

Benefits differ by card

Chase Sapphire Reserve and Chase Sapphire Preferred cardmembers with an active DashPass membership will receive benefits through December 31, 2027.

Sapphire Reserve members get two promos of up to $10 each month and a $5 monthly DoorDash credit until January 31, 2025 and then $5 off restaurant orders starting February 1, 2025. Sapphire Preferred members receive one $10 promo each month.

Chase Freedom and Slate users can enroll in DashPass through January 31, 2025, for three months of free membership, followed by nine months of discounted DashPass.

Starting February 1, 2025, new enrollees will receive six free months of DashPass. These cardholders with activated DashPass membership receive a $10 promo each quarter.

DashPass, available in the U.S. and Canada, saves subscribers an average of $4-$5 per eligible order and is the largest membership program in third-party local commerce.
