Global technology company Square has partnered with tech logistics company Stuart to provide a centralized POS system for delivery and operations.
This is expected to increase efficiency and open up new revenue streams for restaurants, beauty, and retail businesses.
Square allows customers to build custom commerce experiences. Its tailored product suite allows businesses to optimize their operations, making it possible for them to manage across different locations and sales channels. Right now the company has more than 4 million sellers globally.
Stuart was founded in 2015 in Paris and connects businesses to independent couriers. The company allows global retailers and local businesses to provide next-day, same-day, and on-demand delivery. Stuart operates in more than 150 cities in the UK, France, and Poland.
Samina Hussain-Letch, Executive Director of Square, UK, said that the partnership allows them to offer businesses a way to automate in-house delivery to customers, and thus get time back.

The partnership allows merchants to connect with a local network of independent courier partners via Stuart when a Square Online delivery order is received. The ease of this integration allows an enhanced digital ordering and delivery experience that leads to increased brand loyalty.
Additionally, Square users can customize their e-commerce operations based on the different ways their customers like to place orders, receive deliveries or pay. Both businesses and end-consumers are able to enjoy an optimized e-commerce experience.
Square users within Stuart’s coverage area can activate Stuart services via the Square App’s Marketplace, allowing delivery to customers in less than 30 minutes 364 days a year.
