Head of US&C Restaurant Advertising, Uber Technologies


Tony Bandanza is Head of the US&C Restaurants Advertising business for Uber. He is responsible for setting strategy and day-to-day execution for one of Uber’s fastest-growing lines of business, supporting the success of hundreds of thousands of merchants on the platform.

He first joined Uber in 2016 following a successful career in financial risk management, and has spent the past decade applying emerging technologies to improve marketplace efficiency, unlock new revenue streams, and elevate customer experiences. After serving as a foundational B2B seller at both Uber and DoorDash, Tony returned to Uber in 2022 to lead the global Yum! Brands partnership, overseeing the launch and expansion of Pizza Hut and scaling the portfolio across 30 countries. Following a period of explosive growth in store coverage and marketplace adoption, he turned his attention to strengthening platform performance and demand generation for the operators Uber serves. With his expertise and track record, Tony formally shifted his focus to lead Uber’s Restaurant Advertising vertical in 2025.

Tony is known for building high-performing, inclusive teams and for driving mutually beneficial and sustainable long-term partnerships built on trust. He graduated from Cornell University and lives in Chicago with his wife and two sons.
