Ray Sassaman

2005-Started working in the restaurant industry in while going to school. I ended up enjoying it and decided to continue.

2006-Was promoted to GM where I took over a restaurant that had struggled some. While I worked for that company my store ran so well I was able to travel and work in 6 other stores filling in for managers on vacation, leave or to train and develop the management team.

2009- I was hired by my previous boss to be a part of a new restaurant opening for a company he had started working for. I have been with that company since. I successfully managed there through declining sales of the Housing market crisis.

2013-I was asked to transfer to the highest volume store in the company, Albany Oregon Denny’s.

2014-Albany Denny’s was approved to be a training store by Denny’s Inc..

2016-I was promoted to Area Manger answering only to the owner Paul Fox.

2019-I was promoted to regional Manager assuming co operating duties with Paul for 5 Denny’s Restaurants. I was certified to Proctor Serve Safe for others.

Also in 2019 we opened Benchwarmers Bar & Grill in Corvallis Or. When the Pandemic shut our in store sales down we started doing business with Nextbite. We were not only able to get our sales back through togo but went on to become Nextbites #1 partner.

2022 CEO Denny Post and Michelle Wickham came to Corvallis to meet with Paul and I and see our operation for themselves.
