Bojangles has partnered with Bikky for their data and analytics services. Bikky, a Customer Data Platform (CDP), has been designed for multi-unit restaurants and will be used in all 800 Bojangles locations.
Bikky integrates online ordering providers, payment processors, point-of-sales systems, and loyalty programs to provide users with a wide range of data. This includes information about how particular menu items perform as well a guest frequency. This information will be a valuable asset as Bojangles looks to expand to more than 1,000 locations and into new markets such as Texas and Las Vegas.
Sergio Perez, Senior Director of Omnichannel at Bojangles, said that the company’s digital transformation is in step with their policy of putting guests first. “Today’s partnership announcement with Bikky is the next step in ensuring we keep our guests at the heart of our transformation. By understanding what content, offers, and products drive action, we will accelerate our learning and translate that into an engagement program that drives incremental sales,” he continued.
Bojangles has made a strategic effort to bring their guests into the digital age over the past two years. New offerings include AI drive-thru technology and a new mobile app, to name just a few. With access to new metrics provided by Bikky, such as how certain menu pairings lead to incremental spend, Bojangles hopes to learn key information for their planned expansion.
Abhinav Kapur, CEO and Co-Founder of Bikky, commented on how important it is for restaurants to understand their guests, adding, “We founded Bikky on the belief that restaurants deserve the same access to data as the largest, most sophisticated businesses in the world. This announcement marks another step forward in achieving that mission. I’m proud to say ‘It’s Bo Time!”
According to Statista, the online food delivery market is expected to grow to $535 billion by the year 2028. This will lead to an increase in the amount of data that can be gained from digital and off-premise channels. Other restaurant brands, such as Long John Silver’s and Dave’s Hot Chicken, are already using Bikky’s CDP platform.
