Digital operations platform Marqii has combined with OpenTable to incorporate publisher reviews on its review dashboard.

The dashboard will feature reviews from the likes of Yelp, Facebook, and Grubhub, Uber Eats and ezCater —to name just a few.

Marqii restaurant partners will also have the ability to respond to OpenTable reviews from one location.

Marqii Review Management provides insight and analytics regarding reviews that are customized according to the way hospitality brands understand guest experience. This includes keyword breakdowns and sentiment analysis, to name just a few features.

Avi Goren, Co-Founder and CEO of Marqii, commented that reviews and guest feedback are an integral part of improving guest experiences as well as building relationships.

“As a reservation platform, OpenTable ties guest reviews back to a profile and specific reservation event, making it even easier to pinpoint where and when great things are happening, or how experiences can be improved,” Goren said.

Marqii was founded in 2017 by Goren along with Evan Perlmutter and Bryan Rutcofsky. The company has dozens of point-of-sale (POS) integrations and is connected to over 80 listing sites. They are currently used by more than 10,000 hospitality businesses.

Marqii’s Managed Review Response service includes responses to OpenTable reviews, and its team will create on-brand and personalized responses to all reviews. This is done using a combination of Human Intelligence and AI.

“Responding to those reviews deepens relationships with already-engaged diners, encouraging return visits and building loyalty,” said Goren.

During the first quarter of 2024 Marqii users responded to over 50 percent of their reviews. This compares to an average response rate of 35 percent in all restaurants.
