Miso Robotics, a company focused on restaurant tech and kitchen automation, has partnered with Roboworx to handle installation, maintenance, and ongoing support for its systems.
The partnership will primarily support Miso’s Flippy Fry Stations, which automate the cooking of fried foods like French fries, onion rings, and chicken with consistency and accuracy.
Roboworx will work on both new installs and existing units already in the field. Their technicians will handle deployments, routine maintenance, on-demand repairs, and regular check-ins with restaurant staff.
“Miso’s automation platform is powerful and intuitive, but like any sophisticated system, it requires knowledgeable support to deliver its full potential,” said Jeff Pittelkow, managing director at Roboworx. “As the service backbone of Miso’s nationwide rollout, we’re helping the company set a new standard for restaurant automation, and helping it and its customers thrive.”
Miso offers Flippy Fry Stations through a robotics-as-a-service model, with no upfront costs and a monthly fee that it claims is lower than hiring a full-time employee.
Flippy is currently in about 20 locations, including some Jack in the Box and White Castle restaurants, with more rollouts planned each week through the end of September.
