Smashburger is streamlining its limited-time menu this summer, introducing a simplified selection.

The fast-casual chain’s menu includes two burgers and two Häagen-Dazs hand-spun shakes, a smaller selection than previous seasonal promotions.

The menu features the Pickle Stack Smash with a double layer of dill pickles, American cheese, mustard and mayo and the Smoked Brisket Bacon Smash with smoked brisket, bacon, cheddar and barbecue sauce.

The chain is also introducing a Chocolate Banana Chip Shake and a Dark Cherry Chip Shake.

CEO Jim Sullivan said the streamlined approach reflects the company’s focus on execution.

“We’ve made a deliberate decision to do fewer things, executed at the highest level. Simplifying our seasonal menu is a critical lever for operational excellence, which means faster, more consistent execution in our restaurants and a better guest experience in every visit. Our guests want bold flavor and real value, and a tighter, better-executed lineup is how we deliver both,” Sullivan said in a statement.

Kate Savelli, Smashburger’s chief marketing officer, said the new offerings are designed to deliver bold flavors and value while keeping the menu focused.

“Smashburger is a brand built on craveability and craftsmanship,” Savelli said in a statement.

The launch follows recent LTOs, including the Spring Fresh & Full Color menu, Big Shrimp Roll and Crispy Shrimp Basket and Scorchin’ menu.

Sullivan was named CEO in 2025 and Savelli joined the company in May as Smashburger refreshed its executive team. This comes as the chain works to strengthen performance following restaurant closures and several challenging years.

Denver-based Smashburger operates 178 restaurants, including 112 company-owned locations and 66 franchised restaurants. The company plans to open up to 12 restaurants this year.
