Armed with a wing-heavy menu that’s well suited to delivery, Buffalo Wild Wings has opened its latest Go-branded location in Shawnee, Kansas, the Inspire Brands-owned restaurant’s takeout- and delivery-focused model.

Inspire said the location opened this week, on July 12, and is its first GO location in Kansas. The first-ever Go location opened three years ago in the Atlanta metro area, miles from the company’s Atlanta Support Center. The locations feature walk-up counters, digital menu boards, “condensed” seating and TVs for guests to enjoy while waiting for their orders.

Unique to the Buffalo Wild Wings Go format, guests who order ahead will be able to pick up their meal from heated takeout lockers. The Go locations offer traditional and boneless wings, breaded tenders, sides and all 23 Buffalo Wild Wings sauces and dry rubs.

“I am thrilled to introduce the new Buffalo Wild Wings Go model in Shawnee,” said John Bowie, president, Buffalo Wild Wings. “Our takeout and delivery business grew significantly over the past two years as guests across America enjoyed our award-winning wings, sauces and other menu items at home. With great deals every day of the week on wings and bundles at Go, customers have one more way to enjoy our wings for any occasion, from game day lunch to family dinner.”

To celebrate the grand opening, the restaurant said it would give away free wings to the first 50 customers in line on ordering day, who will also receive a booklet redeemable for free wings for a year.

The Shawnee Go location at 6638 Monticello Rd. will be open from 11 AM to 11 PM, Sundays through Thursdays, and 11 AM to midnight on Fridays and Saturdays.
