Wow Bao is taking its next step toward an off-premises-biased real estate model with high-tech vending machines through a partnership with Automated Retail Technologies and its Just Baked Hot Food kiosks.
Wow Bao inside of Just Baked vending machines will begin rolling out in hospitals, hotels, bars, schools, airports and casinos throughout North America. Florida and Georgia are the first markets to launch, and the team has an aggressive growth plan to increase the footprint across the U.S. and Canada through 2022 and 2023.
Wow Bao President and CEO Geoff Alexander said the partnership was seven years in the making, and will focus on placing the vending machines in food deserts.

The partnership launched in July with 50 kiosks in 24 different cities offering Wow Bao entrees such as Teriyaki Bao, Mongolian Beef Bao, Chicken Dumpling, and Coconut Custard Bao.
