SVP of Operations, C3

Joey is the senior vice president of operations for C3, the leading global food tech platform that is re-imagining the food service industry with a brand-first approach through established brick and mortar shared kitchens, digital restaurants and the group’s Citizens culinary markets. Joey oversees and leads all facets of C3’s global business units, including day-to-day operations and growth strategy for the group. C3’s digital restaurant brands include Umami Burger, Krispy Rice, Sam’s Crispy Chicken, Kumi, Sa’Moto, EllaMia, Cicci di Carne, Plant Nation, El Pollo Verde, In a Bun, and more.

Joey oversees all company expansion across the U.S. and internationally. Most recently, he led the launch of C3’s first culinary market, Citizens New York. The culinary destination features 40,000 square foot lifestyle food hall at Brookfield Properties’ Manhattan West development in New York City and features all of C3’s culinary markets as well as elevated dining concepts, including Casa Dani, S Bar and Katsuya NYC. Citizens culinary market expansion plans include the newly opened Citizens MiamiCentral and plans for additional openings for Atlanta, Seattle, Chicago, Philadelphia and California. Additionally, he oversaw C3’s international expansion with the announcement of partnerships in Dubai and Saudi Arabia.

In addition to overseeing C3’s culinary market and C3 brand expansion, Joey manages all company joint ventures. Recent wins include a partnership with TGI Fridays and Hooters to run digital kitchens out of TGI Fridays portfolio of over 700 restaurants and 54 countries worldwide. In addition to the launch of C3’s national food halls in partnership with Graduate Hotels, bringing C3 brands to college towns across the country.
