The Local Culinary is the first franchise model of ghost kitchen/virtual restaurants in U.S. The Local Culinary was created in 2018 by Alp Franko, a successful European restaurant veteran and entrepreneurial visionary. Thanks to his background and operational expertise, it enabled him to create a model that is highly cost effective but also easy to operate.
With a challenging restaurant market pre-Covid, because of the rise of competition and costs, and with the rising popularity of ghost kitchens restaurants which is expected to intensify even more in the upcoming years, it is the right time for restaurants to have a stronger presence online.
