Rent is usually just a giant expense that disappears each month. Bilt, the rewards program and payment network, changes that by giving members points for paying rent.
Points come through the Bilt Mastercard or the app and can be redeemed for travel, home goods, furniture, restaurant purchases, and more.
Home delivery powered by Gopuff
Now, Bilt is expanding into home delivery powered by Gopuff. Members can order groceries and household essentials directly through the Bilt app. Points can cover the full order or part of it, and deliveries can arrive in as little as 15 minutes in U.S. markets where Gopuff operates.
“Bilt Home Delivery turns loyalty into something you can actually touch,” said Ankur Jain, founder and CEO of Bilt in a statement.
Members navigate to the home delivery section in the app, browse items, and pay with Bilt Points, a linked card, or a combination.
The feature is also available to apartment managers and local businesses, who can send deliveries like welcome kits for new tenants.
This extends Bilt beyond a rent rewards program into a commerce platform connecting renters, property managers, and local businesses.
“As customers seek ways to stretch their dollar further, we’re leveraging Gopuff’s model and technology to power the delivery of affordable essentials you can pay for with your Bilt Points,” said Alberto Menolascina, SVP of new business at Gopuff in a statement.
