Global delivery and logistics technology platform Shipday announced $7 million Series A funding Nov. 17, a milestone for the operation serving more than 5,000 small and medium-sized businesses (SMBs) in upwards of 100 countries.
The Series A investment brings Shipday’s total funding past the $10 million mark, allowing for more spending on features like AgentFlow, the platform’s new artificial intelligence-powered automation engine functioning as a self-driving operating system for local deliveries, according to a Nov. 17 release.
Shipday’s fruitful funding round was co-led by ECP Growth, a Connecticut-based growth-stage investment firm focused on aspects of the consumer value chain, and Ibex Investors Mobility VC, an early-stage venture capital fund headquartered in Colorado. Additional funding stemmed from B Capital, which contributed to seed funding in 2023, and Supply Chain Ventures.
“This milestone marks a pivotal moment for Shipday as we continue to scale our platform to meet the growing needs of SMBs navigating complex delivery logistics,” Moin Islam, Shipday co-founder and CEO, said of the Series A funding in a statement. “We’re thrilled to partner with ECP Growth and Ibex, who understand the operational challenges many SMBs face and share our vision for scalable, intuitive logistics technology. Their strategic guidance and deep sector expertise will help us accelerate innovation and reach more customers globally.”
Shipday aims to maximize profitability and enhance customer loyalty for partner merchants by enabling them to manage direct-delivery orders efficiently. In addition to other investments, the recent funding round allows the platform to expand its geographic reach and further spend on agentic AI, which focuses on autonomous decision-making.
Jeff Emmons, Director at ECP Growth, said Shipday’s AI-enabled platform is designed to promote efficiency, mobility and resource efficiency.
“In an increasingly digital-driven marketplace, Shipday’s mission of empowering SMBs to reach more customers through scalable logistics solutions resonated deeply with ECP’s investment approach,” Emmons said in a statement.
AgentFlow leverages intelligent agents to streamline dispatch, customer support and marketing for businesses. Since its seed funding round, Shipday has scaled globally and is now available in 30 languages.
Following the Series A funding round, Jeff Peters, partner at Ibex and head of Mobility VC, said Shipday will accelerate its growth.
“Shipday is equipping SMBs with the necessary tools to compete and win in the last-mile delivery space that has seen explosive growth and high consumer expectations,,” Peters said in a statement.
