Sauce, a Los Angeles-based tech company helping restaurants quickly implement dynamic pricing, announced a new integration with Olo.
The Olo-Sauce news comes a week after Juicer, another automated pricing platform, integrated its offering with ItsaCheckmate.
Sauce co-founder and CEO Colin Webb said Sauce is now a Gold-level Olo Connect integration partner. Olo is one of the largest restaurant technology providers, with more than 600 restaurant brands on the platform.
In a blog post announcing the development, Sauce said this integration means that restaurants on Olo’s platform “can integrate dynamic pricing in just a few clicks,” using real-time order data to set pricing to improve restaurant profitability and reach new customers.
The Olo integration means operators can sync Olo order data from across the entire restaurant’s ecosystem to deploy hourly pricing strategies that can shift by store or region—especially critical for many of the large restaurant brands that are Olo clients.
To get started, restaurants can visit their Olo Dashboard, navigate to User Management and use Partner Permissions to add Sauce Pricing as a partner.
Sauce can be used to automatically generate pricing strategies based on store-level demand data, or customized to create pricing strategies that implement dynamic rates for lunches, dinners, weekdays, weekends, special events or happy hours.
