Suzie is CEO of Bonchon, a global leader in Korean fried chicken with more than 150 restaurants in the U.S. and 450 worldwide. Under Suzie’s leadership, Bonchon has redefined its menu with bold innovations, introduced new technology platforms, and broken franchise development records through unprecedented deal signings and new store openings. Suzie is driving ambitious strategies to elevate Bonchon’s presence in the competitive restaurant landscape, all while staying true to the brand’s authentic roots and unique appeal.
Suzie’s career includes more than 20 years in the hospitality industry with previous leadership roles at Chili’s Bar and Grill, On The Border Mexican Grill & Cantina, and KidZania USA. Her recent accolades include being named among Fast Casual’s 2025 Top 25 Movers & Shakers and Lunchbox’s 2025 Top 30 Women in Food. She is an industry thought leader, sharing her insights as an invited conference speaker, Entrepreneur Magazine contributor, and frequent podcast and webinar guest. Suzie is unabashedly blazing trails as a woman of color in a restaurant industry executive leadership position and is passionate about empowering other women. She serves as a volunteer mentor for GLEAM Network, and is an advisory board member for Opus Training, Bite, and Women in Restaurant Leadership.
