Picnic, the national office lunch platform, is expanding into Austin and Houston, onboarding clients previously served by Austin-based Colorfull, a corporate food-delivery startup,

Arin Aghazarian, head of Picnic

Colorfull shares our vision of connecting people with great meals,” said Arin Aghazarian, head of Picnic, in an email interview. “By onboarding their clients, we’re expanding the reach of restaurant partners to offices that value quality and variety. We’re building a food ecosystem that gives employees access to meals they’re excited about, without the hidden costs.”

Picnic, a division of CloudKitchens, delivers meals to offices from more than 50 restaurants in Los Angeles, New York, the Bay Area, Chicago, Phoenix, Toronto, and the new Texas locations. It uses a no-fee, no tip model.

“The rest of the industry has been profiting off inflated fees and hidden costs for years, but we’ve proven that model is broken. With Picnic, companies and employees finally get what they actually want, to pay only for the food and nothing else,” said Aghazarian. “Fees aren’t just unnecessary, they’re outdated.”

Picnic is also positioning itself with heightened customer service.

“Everyone can order exactly what they want from different restaurants and it all arrives together, on time, delivered straight to their floor by a highly trained driver,” she said. “Behind the scenes, our support team is the best in the industry, no chatbots, just a real person answering in under 30 seconds.”
