Restaurant tech startup Sauce has appointed Ellie Doty to its Pricing Advisory Board.
Sauce helps restaurants make their online platforms more profitable through dynamic pricing.
As a former CMO for large, franchised and multi-unit brands, Doty is deeply familiar with all aspects of pricing for success.
According to a statement, she “feels strongly that the ideal price should be data-fueled and led by the customer experience.”
As a member of the Pricing Advisory Board, Doty will assist in ensuring each tool delivers ideal pricing approaches for long-term strategies to grow restaurant-level margins.
Doty’s latest role follows a long list of achievements and over 18 years of industry experience in marketing, brand building and navigating the shift to a data-driven, digital world for big chains such as Taco Bell and KFC. She also led a turnaround as the CMO of Chili’s Grill and Bar, driving eight consecutive quarters of traffic-driven sales growth and also served as the CMO for Burger King in North America.
Today, Doty is an advisor, speaker, consultant and fractional CMO for several marketing and restaurant technology companies. She has been able to translate her skills to various categories including start-ups, such as virtual restaurant brands to a theatre in Manhattan.
