7 Brew knows a thing or two about speedy on-the-go service. All of its more than 375 locations are drive-thru businesses so it’s sort of required. Its Brew Crew teams pride themselves on remembering orders, giving a smile, and getting customers through the lanes lickety-split. And now it’s preparing to dazzle consumers with a new kind of lane, this one a walk-thru, which will reside in a Walmart Supercenter in Springdale, Arkansas.
The brand has high hopes for this new venture but is making sure it walks before it runs.
“Right now our primary focus is on ensuring the success of this inaugural stand,” the company said in an email. “That said, we look forward to gaining valuable insights from our first walk-thru stand to inform any future plans.”
7 Brew isn’t the first brand to expand its footprint in a Walmart. There are several others in the Supercenter, including Mr. Gatti’s Pizza and a venture from Richtech Robotics.
“Walmart enables us to capture new customers, and aligns with our mission of cultivating kindness and delivering outstanding service in the communities we serve,” the company said. “Exploring non-traditional locations allows us to reach new customers and further revolutionize today’s beverage experience, showcasing the diverse capability of our development model.”
The brand thrives in customer service, which shows up in its rewards-program usage data: an estimated 95 percent of orders comes through it. Having this new outlet should play to its advantage.
