Church’s Texas Chicken is the latest restaurant chain to launch catering, introducing the service across its U.S. restaurants for the first time.

The Atlanta-based chicken chain, which operates nearly 900 U.S. restaurants, announced the launch of Church’s Catering across its domestic restaurant system, offering pickup and delivery at participating locations.

Roland Gonzalez, the chain’s CEO, said the debut was motivated by the growing importance of the ordering channel.

“As demand for catering and off-premises dining continues to grow, we’re making it even easier to serve generous, great-tasting meals that bring people together,” Gonzalez said in a statement, adding that the catering program could serve “more occasions and groups of all sizes with the convenience, quality and value our guests expect.”

The catering menu includes buffet-style options, full-meal bundles for larger groups, and individually packaged meals for business settings and other on-the-go occasions.

Customers can order fried chicken, family-size sides like mashed potatoes with gravy and baked mac & cheese, and more. Chicken and tenders and Big Meal Bundles can serve up to 50 people, while Big Box Meals offer individually packaged meal options.

The launch includes a first-party ordering component, with catering available directly through Church’s website. Orders can be placed up to 90 days in advance. Through the end of the year, first-time catering orders of $150 or more placed through churchs.com/catering can receive $15 off with promo code SAVE15PR.

Catering demand grows

Church’s Texas Chicken enters a competitive catering market as more chicken brands invest in the channel. Among them, Dave’s Hot Chicken added catering through a partnership with ezCater, while Raising Cane’s offers Tailgates bundles.

The catering market continues to grow, with catering forecast to exceed $81 billion in 2026, up more than 6 percent from 2025, and projected to surpass $140 billion by 2035.
