To help restaurants simplify digital ordering, Toast has partnered with Deliverect, a global online ordering management provider.

Deliverect bridges the gap between third-party providers and point-of-sale (POS) systems. The platform integrates online orders from multiple channels, such as delivery (DoorDash, Grubhub) pickup and tableside ordering apps, to an existing POS—removing the need to manually key in orders and avoiding any costly errors.

As part of the Toast integration, Deliverect establishes a connection between a restaurant’s online ordering website, delivery apps, and Toast POS—giving employees a complete overview of all digital orders, as well as market sales insight, in one location.

“Together with Toast, we’re giving restaurants easy-to-use tools to centralize and simplify menu management as well as valuable, aggregated insights into their third-party sales to help them identify opportunities to improve their operations and cater to the needs of consumers,” said Zhong Xu, Deliverect CEO. “Toast has always been a key partner for our customers, and this new integration will help further position our customers for success.”

In a statement, Yohann Zinier, managing partner at restaurant/food hall Pure Roots Provisions, said the integration of Toast and Deliverect has been a “total game changer”.

“We used to spend so much time tracking and searching for orders through third-party tablets and now everything is streamlined through Deliverect,” said Zinier. “It’s much faster, and beneficial that we can keep all of our third-party orders in one place.”

Restaurants can also sync online menus from their Toast POS using the Deliverect Menu Builder, which centralizes and simplifies menu management and promotion creation.

The integration requires a subscription to both Toast and Deliverect and is currently only available in the United States.

Launched in 2018, Deliverect has implemented its services in large chains such as Taco Bell to smaller restaurants and dark kitchens. It currently works with over 32,000 establishments and operates in over 40 markets worldwide.
