After testing out convenience store-only bundling that made it possible to add items from a second merchant after checkout, Uber Eats has introduced multi-store ordering that allows consumers to order from two restaurants, C-stores or liquor stores at the same time without an additional delivery fee.
“After testing convenience store-only bundling and making it possible to add items from a second merchant after checkout, consumers told us what they wanted most was to build one order from two different merchants,” an Uber spokesperson said. “Since then, our team has been hard at work, building this feature in a way that will allow you to get more of what you want, while saving on delivery fees.”
Multi-store ordering is already live now in the Uber Eats app nationwide.
Here’s how it works:
- After selecting items from a store’s menu and adding them to your cart, tap “Bundle another store” at the bottom of the menu.
- Add items from a second store and then head to checkout.
- Place your bundled order and enjoy.
